My plastic door handle broke over the winter (outside door handle) and I recently bought a metal replacement. Anyways I looked at my broken one (that's still connected to my door) and it looks like I have to drill it out maybe?

Has anyone replaced the door handle before? I have no clue what to do. Walking around my car and opening the passenger door has gotten to be pretty anoying not to mention embarrasing. ![]() I didn't get any parts at all with my door handle. Just the door handle itself. So I was wondering if I needed to buy some rivets screws or what. Any help would be great. ![]() |

Drill the rivets out and go visit the bolt section at the parts store. Find two nuts and bolts that are about 3/4 of an inch long. Can't remember the diameter of the bolts but it needs to fit easily through the holes on the new door handle. Don't forget to pick up a little bottle of lock tite so they don't back out.
