![]() We went last Saturday and bought a set of 255/50/16 BFG Drag Radials for the LX, and I have only three words. OH MY GOD!!!!
They are perhaps the best mod one can do to a car, I was utterly amazed. At 18 psi, with a 3 or 4 sec burnout, I took my friend off the line by 3 car-lengths, and that was only the first time I'd launched it with them at that pressure, and only at 2200 rpms. I later experimented with 3000, and it launched even harder. I'm told by and engine builder I'm aquainted with that people he builds for launch at 3500 or a little higher, and get 1.5 and 1.6 60 ft times on them, so I figure that with the stock suspension I should be able to get 1.8's or so, and knock quite a chunk off my best of 8.8 in the 1/8th mile, which was with a 2.014 60 ft.
