Default California drivers, beware

I know this thread was brought up a month ago, but I just wanted to say watch out for the new CHP's in the SS Camaro's. This last weekend, my friend showed up late to go on the cruise with us to Carlsbad. He had to drive alone so he was speeding to catch up. He told me he was going about 85, pretty normal for California, and didn't even see the Camaro as he sped by it. Of course the dumba$$ got a ticket. Figures, he's a chevy fan, he deserves to get pulled over by that car. The one that pulled him over was hanging out near the 74 and was all white with a tiny light bar. Take care, Keith

I was coming home from Myrtle Beach over the summer, I think it was either virginia or west virginia, and saw a white Camaro. It looked like an SS, but could have been a Z-28. Either way, if I saw one on the highway I probably wouldn't have thought much about passing him. You couldn't tell except for a small light bar on top of it, not like regular cop car lights.

That's definitely the same car, I forgot it had the highway patrol on the side, but I remember seeing it now. Are they beefed up any compared to factory Z-28's?

The car that pulled him over is based out of San Jaun Capistrano. I've seen it around since the day they brought it, and even warned people about it that were coming through.

Guess GM guys just don't listen.

the FHP ones are in FHP colors (beige and black)...and with that hidden lightbar, they blend VERY VERY well....and yes, midniteblu is right...they are ALL z28s...
