![]() I was out driving the stang last night, actually driving it nice and slow, then as I pull into my GF house I hear something....
Yep one of the rods decided it wanted a life outside the cylinder walls (didn't quite make it though). ![]() damn, did you have any indication beforehand that your car had any problems? My engine is sickly...rod knock, flat cam lobe on #4 and several collapsed lifters. I'm just waiting for something to fly out of the block, but the damn thing doesn't die (i've driven this cheap POS for almost 2 years now with these probs and the only thing that actually failed was the timing chain). That was a nailbiter....once it dies i'm gonna invest in PAW's 427 stroked/bored 351W kit. mmmm....torque. Sorry to hear about your loss, but hey you're looking on the bright side and no one got hurt so it's not all that bad.
