Post NO2 and regular gas

Can I run 87 octane gas with a 100-125 HP shot of nitrous if I pull the timing back a little more than the normal about that you whould pull back.

Don't do it, run the good gas when you are juicin' that high. My timing is at 10 and plugs are colder and smaller gaps (0.040"). With 91 octane its the least I'd run. I have a friend that ran 87 on a 100 shot and it started to detonate resulting in a blown gasket.

I heard another trick to save a few bucks in gas......mix it with a few gallons of water.
