Post First rain since April

Well, we got our first rain in over 6 months today (technically we got .01" on July 25, but that wasn't more than heavy fog). I guess it's time to get out the windshield wipers and double check the insurance policy. Just felt like sharing.

Take care,
-Chris

I saw that in the news, and was thinking of you. Got the snowmobile primed and ready yet?

A week or two ago Miami got more rain in two days than we get all year! That would absolutely paralyze this area. Wow.

Take care,
-Chris

Hehehe, nope. Pretty much just remembered I need a new multi-function switch for my wipers, and watched a bunch of idiots try and drive in it. If it ever snowed here, people would die. I did go out to Surfers Point and check the surf. Storms usually bring large waves with them. It was better than normal, but a little choppier than I like.

Take care,
-Chris

I'm afraid my city banned sledding within the city limits. That and I don't have a tow vehicle, trailer, or friends that ever want to do anything. I sold the Wildcat in January of last year. Fun sled for sure, but I wasn't ever getting any use out of it. I have no plans to buy on this year as of yet.

Maybe next year?

Yep, I had to put the wipers back on too.
Roads are nice and clean again.
Makes for good traction you know.

Angry

You guys suck! Up here in Vancouver it's raining right now, in fact yesterday was the only day in the last two weeks that it didn't rain!
There are two main jokes about the rain in Vancouver: "It only rains once a year, it starts in October and doesn't stop until May"
The other is about predicting the weather in Vancouver. "If you can look to the the south and see Mt. Baker, it's going to rain. If you can't see Mt. Baker, it's already raining."
