Default getting front cap painted. How do I make the rest of the paint match

Ok the rubber front cap on my car is faded BAD and has several large paint chips in it. I'm gonna have it repainted, but I'm worried that the rest of the car won't match.

Can I use rubbing compound to make the rest of the car match better? I don't have a buffer so I would have to do it by hand, although I could buy one if I needed to.

Do you guys have comments or other suggestions

I am not quite sure, but if you take the whole car in and they do the front they can do the rest of ya're car or like the front to blend in. So it won't be a very noticable change. But I am not to sure.

I don't really know if there is a solution to that problem. If your hood and fenders are also faded or oxidized, then try to buff them out to match the front cover. If that doesn't work, I think the only solution would be to repaint the hood and fenders. Then you have to deal with the doors not matching the fenders....what a pain....
