Cool Merc Marauder anyone?

man i jus saw a Mercury commercial for the marauder (thats a sweet lookin car!). as an ol Crown vic driver, I hold a special place for the big V8 RWD sedans like that (even the 96 SS impala wasn't too shabby for a 4 door bowtie)

it jus looks menacing all that black an chrome, nice styling, killer stance an subtle nuances give it that watch F*** out look.(302 horses and 318 pound-feet of torque aint too bad either..

wouldn't be sweet, if SVT came up with a version of there own?
called it the HOS-high output sedan,(a modrn day SHO if you will) drop that blown 03 Cobra engine in there, some boss wheels, and send us back to the days of full size muscle cars like the GTO, Fairlane, impala,

anybody gotten to test drive one of these hopped up grocery getters?

Hee,hee, believe it or not, the Fairlanes and GTOs were called "compact" cars back in that era, but the Impallas were full size..

i think its awesome when ppl make sleepers out of family cars...

yesterday in orlando i saw a caprice station wagon (liek teh sweet early 90s impalas), wood panelling, etc....the exhaust on it made it sound like it had a big block...lol....he was halving it (little gas on half the brake) at a light and it was just hopping....it was ghettofied, but i was admiring the fact that it was a station wagon ...it was actually a part of a large group of ghettoed station wagons...i musta seen over 40k worth of rims on 5 cars...gold on a taurus station wagon is original IMO..lol..the one "original" car was the guy driving the 98 cobra who pulled along side me and was eying my GT, then yelled over "nice care man"..course i had to compliment his back, sinc eit was nicer ...orlando is wayyy cooler than gainesville...hehe

whoa, i went kinda off topic....but felt like sharing
