Fun Ford Weekend Results!
HEY EVERYONE!
Thought I"d go ahead and let ya'll know how Ennis went! Well, I actually found a room about 10-15 min from the track! I was gonna stay w/ Dana Lewis..It was getting late by the time we got there and i still had the car to clean. I got to meet Dana on Saturday! She was running True Street..I enjoyed meeting her. She was very nice to offer for me to stay at her place! THANKS DANA!  I went up w/ my friends from our SVT Cobra Club down here. Had a great trip to Ennis. Met up w/ Crewzin and 347 on Saturday! The had the most AWESOME spot saved for me!!!!! We were there with "Elinor". Crewzin had his new Mach. Cad also showed up. The place was Packed on Saturday. I bet there were AT LEAST 150 cars there! They only gave out to the Top 25. And there were a BUTT LOAD of trucks from a club...it was participants choice.  Me, 347, and Crewzin went to my room after the show, they borrowed the shower, then Crewzin went back to the track, and me and 347 drove to the ends of the earth(or so it seemed!) to find a liquor store!!!!!! (DRY COUNTY ALL AROUND THERE!  ) They cooked us some steaks for dinner, Cad was there too. Then I headed back to the hotel. i was beat. Sunday started out HORRIBLE... I parked my car right next to the sprinkler system!!!!!!!!!!! And, NO , I didn't have a cover!  When I got down to my car on Sunday morning it was covered, the wheels, ,the whole front end and fenders w/ hard water spots. THat **** would NOT come out! God, I was so stressed out!!!!!!!!!Heather and Jayson helped me clean it up(347 and Cruisin) cuz it was like I had to start all over again. ALSO it was Heathers 30th BIRTHDAY!  They did the Sunday awards...Top 20 Mustangs and Specialties... EVERYONE did great! Cruisin and 347 Got a Top 20 w/ the Mach All my friends from the SVT COBRA CLUB got a Top 20 I got a Top20 Nicole(Girls Can 2) Got Best overall Interior I got Best overall ENGINE!!!!! (I freaked out! COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!) These awards were out of OVER 100 cars... Also, Dennis Gage from My Classic Car was there again..He came up to me when i was working on my car and we shot the sh$$ and he have me a new license plate w/ the logo and a new sticker. He also came up to me at the awards..I thought that was really cool....Hes really nice. BUT, he has no hair! He still wears his funny cap, but, I didn't realize how short he shaves his head!  (guess he makes up for it in the MUSTACHE!)!!!  So, Im happy after all that I decided to go! Turned out better than I had hoped or thought it would! and THANKS 347 and Crewzin, for helpin me out and for feeding me!!!!! I really appreciate it!!!!! Congrats to all that won!  TNT

We had a great time!!! It did feel like ends of the earth to find a store!!! I am so glad that I got to spend it with most of my great friends i could not have spent any better than waking up in the A.M. to the sound of motors!!
Everyone did great!!! I cant wait till FFW in Houston!!!

I was so proud of your wins, I'm glad those blasted sprinklers didn't ruin it for you!  I would've freaked! Congrats again! Heather, crewzin, and Cad...As usual it was a pleasure! I was pretty disappointed with some of the results in the car show dept. myself. I didn't come to show, more to promote for GC2, therefore I took a long look at who was out there displaying their hard work. When the awards were called I was upset to see some people (total strangers to me) walk away empty handed who were VERY deserving of the win. They nixed many classes and filled in gaps with a lot of consolation prizes. I HATE showing anyways but was REALLY irritated this year and glad I didn't come specifically for it. I will say that I won't be showing again there. No matter what. The replacing judges, Autorama reps, had the same "mind set" that I've seen at Autorama shows nationwide and this weekend's results proved the same in a lot of cases. (Big reason why I NEVER enter them) Some people just shouldn't do that job. But again, some of the things which won did fit the bill - others - ugh...Not in a million years. Either way there were some 136 WONDERFUL cars out there and I was glad I had the chance to take a peak! Oh, and congrats to Duff who won Best Truck...Not that I expected any less of it. Glad everyone made it home in one piece! Lookin' forward to spending some more time next year together! We always say that and it's always so darned scattered out there. We'll do it some day! THE NEW MACH.....hmmmmm.....
I'll be the first 2 admit...this was the first time i got up close and personal to the new MACH 1. It is one BADAs$ looking ride...STILL....something about the old '69's I still like better...Maybe its the "OLD" muscle look...BUT...I could DEFINETELY SEE THIS IN MY GARAGE! (they were parked across from me)

Jayson got us the most AWESOME spots....right around "Elinor". This car walked away w/ a sh$tload of awards....and for good reason....
Had to take a pic for other sentimental reasons....I'll never forget when I saw 'Gone In 60 Seconds' for the second time! If you have not seen the ORIGINAL movie from the 70's ....you've GOTTA see it! Its a CLASSIC!

My Classic Car
Heres a change of scenery! I took a shot of Dennis Gage doing an interview w/ a FOCUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! uggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh......................
He was too funny! He is really nice. And, NO, he did not give me his cell phone # again last weekend, like at Baytown. I thought it was really cool how he kept coming up to me and talking to me, especially during the awards. What a job to have!!!!!! I would much rather get paid for doing what HE does than what I do! (SRV: I know you will hate this pic.....LMAO! ) hahahahah I KNOW HE IS YOUR BUDDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol!

well, i got one more shot of my car, but ya'll have seen it enough! I"M WAITING TO SEE JAYSONS SHOTS HE TOOK.....evidently he has a 'surprise' shot he took from the bleachers of me and 347.......
so, J..when ya get around to it...post some of your shots you got!
