Angry Some ppl have no respect for other ppls property!

My '89 Gt I just bought was vandalized yesterday. I know its nor in the greatest shape, but that doesn't mean they can destroy it.

I went out to it the other day to look at it because I noticed that the car cover had a new 5" hole in it . When I lifted up the cover, all I saw was the huge dent in the fender, busted out windshield, and broken drivers mirror .

I'm filing a police report tommorrow. It happend here on base. I'm not very happy at all.

Angry Vandalism

That sucks, big-time.

That was just pure vandalism; destroying something just for the hell of it with no other purpose at all. Stupid and nasty. If they ever found who did it (fat chance) they would probably say they didn't know why they did it.

It seems to be part of life, especially on college campuses and military bases. Sad.

I hope you had comprehensive insurance coverage. It covers this kind of non-accident, non-moving damage and costs next to nothing to add to your policy.

Sorry for your loss, guy.

That's so BS. Just ridiculous. There needs to a severe beating punishment for people like that.

Judge: I sentence you to pay back all damages, and to have a severe beating from which you will not be able to walk away.

digital3.3 I have no idea how you could possibly make a stock 82hp 3.3L fast? What do you have in store for it? A 5.0 swap? Hehehe.

seems to be the only way to get it through these a** h**** heads at times.

to bad our country protects the guilty but not the victoms. can that the liberials for that.

(i know. it's a bit harsh but i'm just so sick of always worrying that some *** is going to rip off my things)

There is no insureance on the car because I just got it. Plus I was planning to part it out anyhow. The damage to the car well exeeds the price I bought it for ($400) and the base said that if I can get any money for this, the max is $400. Which is the most dumbest thing I ever heard of. Lets say I bought a car from a friend for $50, I'd only get $50 for damages. I got a reallu good deal on the car because he was leaving soon, so now I'm getting screwed for that. Oh well.

unit: it isn't to hard to make a small engine go fast just gotta mod it, and a little imagination. i have thought of a 5.0 swap but that would be kinda same as everyone else so i've been think of other engines eg 4.9 i-6 (good engine, lots of power even better moded).

Oh I know you can make power with a smaller engine, but the last time I checked, the 200ci I-6 was a horrible powerplant to start trying to build. My books on modding it certainly didn't impress me with the power output of the engine when all was said and done.

yeah your right, i talked to a couple mechanics with some good ideas to up the power but i think i might just go with , as you said, a engine swap. the engine itself isn't too bad, just they are old and underdeveloped. that and they stick a bunch energy wasting useless equipment on 'em too. but hey.

A 5.0 swap isn't the easiest with your car either. The 3.3L I-6 is the only engine that used a specific K member. You can guarantee you'll need a new rear end as well because most of the 3.3L's, if not all, came with the puny 6.75" rear end. I hate being the bearer of bad news.

I don't know much about the 300ci I-6 swap.

i am not worried about the difficulty i got lots of time to do it. but now that you said that, i will have to change the rear end. but i'm going to take my time and do it right. but i'm thinking the 300 i-6 is the most interesting swap, and one i've never seen yet. i know its a good engine my dad has it in his F-150 and that truck is pretty fast. but for that engine would i used the same rear end from a 5.0 mustang? i think it would be good enough for that. hmm now i'm coming up with a couple ideas....

about the rear end. It is a easy swap for a 8.8", but I found out the brake lines are diff. The ones for my '79 7.5" rear were on the right, the '89 8.8" was on the left. My car started it's life as a 4 cyl, and the v8 fit in there fine.

Hey digital3.3, if u want to be diff, try a 351C. I haven't seen that yet. Or a 351W, if u want less trouble.
