Default Went to NHRA qualifying in Reading Saturday

WOW, what an experience!! That was my first time to an NHRA event. I wanted to get John Force's autograph but that's damn near impossible!! That guy is a like a God.
Right after he ran is qualifying run, a flock of people hurried back to his pit area hoping to get an autograph. There must have been a 100 people just waiting at the entrance of his pit even before he arrived there! They were all yelling "John!! John! how about an autograph!!" It was crazy. He went into his trailor and people waited for an hour for him to come out again. He fimally did but just went about his business. I don't know ig he signed any later on or not because I got tired of waiting.
I learned a lesson though. I learned that you can't stand close to a Nito funny car when it's running without a gas mask!!
Wow!! That stuff is nasty. I saw peope earlier walking around with those masks and couldn't figure out why. I soon found out!!

It's incredible to watch those cars run mid 4's at over 300mph.
I was standing at 3/4 track and you heard them leave the line and then an instant later they are a blur as they blow past you with a deafing roar and ground shaking!!
It was fun even though it got rained out for second round qualifying for Top fuel funny car and dragsters.
I'll be there next year fur sure.
