![]() The ad for my 65 is in the paper today. i said: 65 6cyl all original, beautiful, excellent condition $7000. firm. serious inquiries only.
THEN my sis tells me my brother in a "richer" part of our state says he can sell it for a lot more. Lovely. This is painful enough. i don't need it drawn out any further. I have to sell for financial reasons. So...should i just sell it for the 7,000. IF anyone will pay that? OR risk becoming homeless next month if my bro can't sell it at a higher price. Me very confused. ![]() edited to say: how did i freaking get this attached to a CAR??? |

![]() Tell your brother to go ahead and try, then sell it to the first person that ponies up the cash. Try listing it in the classifieds here and on corral.net. They have a huge classified section on the corral.

![]() 7g for a 6 banger?
no offence but i have a v8 with a forged piston 306 with all the goodies, new motor and tranny, new tires, paint, rubber, weather stripping, etc.. and it's a no rust car with no bondo.. i wouldnt think of asking 7 for it.. MAYBE 5 or 4500 and before u think it's some thrown together piece of junk, the trunk is FULL of throphies from car shows.

![]() Well, then I got screwed real good. I paid $6500 for it and everyone was telling me what a good deal i got, and how valuable it was because it was all original. I was told that the value goes DOWN with any type of changes, including improvements. Oh, well live and learn.

I think $7k for the '65 is reasonable.

![]() I'm in Sacramento, Ca, but have relatives in "rich" San Francisco bay area. That is plan B, to sell it down there BUT i cannot freaking believe NO ONE has responded to my ad here in town. The ad flyer (Pennysaver) I put it in has a 600,000. circulation. But not ONE call?? 50+ calls for free kittens a couple years ago but not for this?? Man... ok, tell me about classic car dealers. I myself called the ads in the same flyer re: "classic Mustangs wanted" but they said they were "wholesalers" looking for crap to get on the cheap and fix up - NOT my pretty baby parked outside. Maybe i should just buy a lottery ticket or sell my soul to the devil, and not have to sell it. Might have better luck LOL
Seriously, though - i have no choice but to sell it before rent is due so i'm probably gonna get ripped off big time. ![]() any takers, my email is maryb59@hotmail.com |

![]() Hey. Let's put it this way - any pristine pic of a 65 springtime yellow coupe would be the same - it really is that perfect. Ok, can you hook me up with a dealer in this area? Thx
