My poor 79 RIP

![]() Well, I bought a '89 Mustang GT the other day. Got it for $400. Drove it to the base, and had fun spinning tires the whole way. I was amazed how fast it was stock. I thought my '66 was fast, hell no! This thing threw me aginst the seat like nothing else. Better then any other car so far.
Anywho, here's my dilemma. Should I use the rebuild 302 for the '79 mustang with the rebuild 4-speed T4 tranny? OR take out the 5.0 and the 5-speed T5 for the '79? I'm just selling the car, and don't want to convert the '79 to fuel injection. Plus I'm trying to sell it as a rebuild motor tranny combo. What should I do. The 5.0 and 5-speed will be faster. Also the '79 is getting the brakes, and wheels/tires from the '89. And the 8.8" rear. Well?
