Got my derby car
I just got back from Iowa today with my derby car. A 66 Imperial with a 440. It's interior is a mess and the doors barely open, but who cars with a erby car! I'm not sure if it runs yet, as it has been parked for 4 years and it is a little rusty where the paint has faded, but no major corrosion. I ended up driving there by myself as no one could go with me on half a days notice. I left at 4 pm on Saturady and got back at 1pm today covering 1500 miles. It was very exciting pulling a 6,000 pound car with my sisters mother in laws Durango on a Uhaul trailer with a 4000 pound capacity. I did cheat and go a little over the 45 mph speed limit posted on the trailer. I couldn't go much over 60 though, as the trailer would start to sway from side to side.
