Back from the track with a 14 sec timeslip
Hey guys, I know you guys have been ragging on my 15 second timeslip for long enough, so I just thought I'd tell you.
Today, the big black cougar went 14.626 @ 94.94mph. The only thing changed between my last run and now was I somehow got better traction. Same tires, just hooked up better. Don't get it myself, but maybe I learned how to drive better, I donno. Anyway, it feels good to be a member of the 14 second club. I'm trying to get a scan of my timeslip uploaded but it's taking a while. If you really want to see it, I'll email it to you. :-) ------------- Michael Black Quantum Motorsports Norman, Oklahoma 1988 Merc Cougar 5.0 HO, P heads, 2.25" custom mandrel bent dual pipes, T5 five speed tranny New E/T!!! 14.626 @ 94.94mph 2.194 60' time, a little better than last time. Keep in mind this thang is heavy (3590lbs) Finally 14s!!!! [This message has been edited by QuantumMotorsports (edited 02-25-2001).] |
