Default heads

hey guys, i have a question or two about some heads. and what you all have found to be best for what i am going to us them for. i have plans for my car to be pretty much a street racer and also i want it to be able to run at the strip also. i was wondering what type/make of heads i should use. i was thinking about the victor edelbrock jr. heads?

any replies would be helpful.

It depends on your cam and intake you want. I too am also looking into getting heads and cam for my pony. I have an Edelbrock Performer 5.0 upper and lower intake. I plan on getting the performer 5.0 heads to compliment it. I am still deciding on my cam. I am torn between Comp cams and Lunani cam. You need to make sure that whatever heads you get that the springs, lifters and rollers are rated for your cam. So, you kinda need to work backward for this. Hope this helps.
