Angry Banged My Car Up Today!!!

Well today my boyfreind and I were on our way to see about a job. We were cruisin down the highway when a huge steel bumper flew up from under the Ranger in front of us and slammed into the front end of my car. We were doing about 70 mph. It then flew up and over the car and hit the car behind us. We immediatly got of the highway to see the damage. Both headlights were busted the hood was bent in. Not too much damage it is all repairable. The hood opens and closes without complication.
If the bumper was up a few more inhes higher we could have been killed !!!! YIKES
Needless to say both of us were pi$$ed. I am not going to worry much about the hood but I need new headlight assemblies.

Note to all...Please be sure all bumpers are in tact before driving!!!!

Here are pictures of the front end

My car is sitting at my parents house. And probably going to be there for a while.

The 4 cylinder has been through so much since I got it:
1.A new tranny
2. Being chased by a psycho in a grand am
3.Off roading (due to #2)
4.Smacking into a concrete pole in a parking garage (because some idiot in a chevy decided to do a panic stop)
5.and Getting cut off on the highway dropping from 70mph to about Ohhhh....20!!!!!! Had to buy new tires for that one

I dont think I wil be getting rid of my 4 popper any time soon

I am just so thankful the bumper didnt go through the windshield VERY THANKFUL

Marty (the post sluut) took the words out of my mouth (thief!). I would have figured the bumper would have the tag on it. That's pretty screwed up either way. I'm glad you escaped it with only damaged nerves!

Take care,
-Chris

In MO you have to have plates on the front and rear of your car. It all happend so fast I didnt see a plate on it. We just went straight to my house to grab my boyfriends GT. We went back to find the bumper but no luck, I think MODOT (Missouri Dept Of Transportation) removed it.

But theres good news!!!! My boyfreinds grandma says if we help her clean up her basemant she'll buy my new head lights for it!!!
