I want a quite exhaust but I really don't have the money to spend on cats and I think that is the only thing that is going to tame mine down.
One day I will have it. What do you think it will sound like with the mac muff's and pipes?

PKRWUD, can you actually tell the difference between cammed/modded and a bad MAP sensor on a SD car? LOL, they can sound real mean.

i have a serious confession to make...ok, here goes......
i'm a "poser". my '94 5.0 only sounds good, for the time being anyway. my sincerest apologies to the mustang world . i as well have that problem with turning down the radio and opening the window to hear my V8 brothers (and sisters). it's gotten so bad that my g/f has the same proplem lol. i respect the clean-sounding throaty rumble of other runners on the road. the kids with the fart pipes can rev all they want. but we both know they don't really intend on backing it up. with really bugs me......

guess I'm weird... dont like a car that looks or sounds faster than it is.. been there done that straight thrushes bolted to the headers.. hahhaa,,.. I prefer the quiet rumble I guess... I like the dynomax that I have on my convert.. not much louder than a stock one... sounds really good... screams when you get on it...
love it when someone on a newer stang with their stock engine and 2 chamber flows thinks mine's stock and they'll beat me ;-)

I don't like cars that are too loud. And while V8's just sound plain cool, if you get your tail whooped after some nasty rev's I think people just laugh harder. I hate the V8's that sound "sloppy" or junky, which too me is summerized perfectly by older Chevy's.
Blowers are cool sounding too. Hammer's Yellowjacket sounds like a fighter jet when it's idling. It's awesome. I also dislike the distorted stereo's. I like good QUALITY music. Any moron can buy a $200 AMP and $100 12" sub and blair the tunes. |

I think as long as they're not sitting next to you revving for no reason then they get my respect, I like the sound. As far as stereos go, I don't mind them either. I guess I'm just used to them, and I have one in my Stang too, but don't crank it everywhere like those guys do. I know some people can't stand it, but oh well!

I'm pissed
You will never guess what happened to me tonight; I got pulled over for having an exhaust that is too loud.
I cannot believe that they have nothing better to do. It was a female and she gave me a hard time about it and said that if I did not get it taken care of soon that she would write me a ticket next time. I have 3chamber flows and it is still too loud. She would have really loved the 1 chamber flows; I would probably have gone to jail.j/k

The only cars that get respect from me are fast....
Domestic, Import, Martian.... As long as it looks good and rocks at the traps, it can be as quiet as a mouse as far as I'm concerned. I've seen too many stock vehicles with loud, irritating exhausts that might run 16s at the track....
