Well in my opinion the Saleen is over-rated. I mean come on, it's like 40,000 bucks, you could build a car just as fast for a lot less money. I would buy a Cobra, throw on a S-trim, a few other little mods, and be faster than a Saleen(and cheaper to boot)

Or just buy a V6 Stang and turn it into a Saleen or Cobra look alike....haha...j/k......
I personally like the Cobras better. And like burner said, they are cheaper and you can get them running with a Saleen for a lot less $$$. |

I would go for the cobra but what I really want is a 1989 Saleen SSC.

Personally, I think I'd wait until November and get a Terminator. I'm still torn on that decision. I love my car dearly but... 400+hp and a warranty? That is hard to beat..

Saleen for me
Looks like I'm DEFINETELY in the minority...but i'd like a Saleen convertible...but, that's just ME!!!!! They just do something for me! Not that i'd turn down a Cobra if it was given to me!!!!!

Hmm... I think it's a fairly tough choice. It depends what saleen. I personally love both. I think I'd go for a Cobra, unless the Price didn't matter then I'd probably take the Saleen. Hmm.. can I have a Cobra R? Yes I think that'll do just fine for me.

Depends....
Stock vs. Stock I would take the Saleen. No question. I don't like some of the body work on the Cobra, it looks cheap to me (those dam side scoops ). Plus you would get a warranty on all your (stock) HP. Plus I think Saleens are more rare.
Now if you were going to Mod the car, I'd take a Cobra. A blower and some steap gears and your making tons of power. But then your spending more money and you could have warranty issues. |
