Default California Lottery

For those of you that hadn't heard, the lottery here is supposed to set a new record tonight, with the estimated jackpot being worth close to $200 million. Every store in town that sells Lotto tickets has people lined up out the door. I don't get it. Don't these people realize their odds are actually better when it's smaller? There are so many more tickets being sold, the winner will be lucky to make their money back, after they have to share it with all the other winners. What complete fools.

So, after I picked up my 40 tickets....

Take care,
-Chris

Well, here's a shocker: I didn't win.

3 others did, though. They will equally split the 193 million dollar jackpot. I wonder if any of them are looking for a really good mechanic. Hmmm.

Take care,
-Chris

Hmmm... little over 64 Million ain't to bad. The thing with you americans you have to pay taxs on that. Our lotteries in Canada are not Taxable. But your jackpots are so much higher. Either way I'll be happy with 1 million. Even at 17 I'm very sure that can set me pretty damn good for life. Start my own business, live a easy life with no real hard work. Yup I can go for that with no problem at all.

1 million Canadian dollars. What's that, like $149 American?

Take care,
-Chris

Hey Kaspar, glad to see you're still around! Dude, it was 193 million. I've got the paper right in front of me. Three winning tickets were each worth 64.3 million dollars. Not bad for a buck, huh!

Take care,
-Chris
