First off I went to West Ky Technical College and got an Associates in Science. I work for and engineering company doing Computer Aided Drafting now. I am also stil lin school part time as a Mechanical Engineering major at Paduch Community College. There is a UK annex here with a great Engineering department. I figure it will take me 7 years part time to get my B.S of Engineering.

I went to a local community college and then the University of Michigan after that. I have a degree in Computer Science, and as I am a Lead Sr. Internet Developer with my company, my career is fairly associated with it. Most of the stuff I studied in college, like traditional programming languages, had little to do with the Web though. Just as I was in my last semester they finally started adding courses centered around Web technologies. That didn't matter much though, as by then I had already taught myself all the current Web technologies and had been running Mustang Works for about three years or so.

I went to the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.
I have a BSc in Mining Engineering. I also basically minored in Finance. Now I work in Marketing and Sales. I acutally don't want to be an Engineer (in the traditional sense) at all. |

I went to school at UWisconsin Stevens Point as a Graphic Design major. That lasted for two years(too much partying). Don't go to school unless you know what you want to do and are serious about it!! I'm still paying for school and I have no degree. I'm getting married next September and when my fiance gets a job I'm going back. No more partying!!

I ahve no clue what i want to do with my life. I will be quite content with any job that lets me live comfortablby. I wish i could get motivated to do school work but most of the time i just can'tr brinmg myself to do it. My dad says if i can get my **** together and do some work ni school and get decent grades he can almost cerrtianly get me in where he works at honeywell.
I'm sure i'll end up at st clair college in windsoir for some courses. Not sure what iu really can do though. I'm not mechanically inclined that I know of.

I attend Grand Valley State University in Allendale Michigan. I am currently pursuing a computer science major along with an information systems minor but it's not set in stone or anything. I tend to change my mind a lot.

I am in my fourth year of a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology. I attend Michigan Technological University and plan to graduate in the spring of 03'.
Michigan Tech graduates the second highest numbers of Mechanical Engineers in the country behind Georgia Tech. My program is a little more hands on then a typical ME degree, however, with only a few exceptions our(MET) classes mirrior the ME departments. I'm not sure exactly what specific branch of mechanical engineering I want to go into. Testing and development are pretty interesting and I wouldn't mind working in the automotive industry. Probably not for the the Big 3 ( or actually big 2, Ford and GM), but I wouldn't mind working for a supplier or an independant company. I recently joined MTU's Future Truck program which builds a hybrid IC engine/Electric vehicle and competes against 15 other universities nationwide. The Society of Automotive Engineers oversees the competition and sets up all of the rules. They also judge the competition. This year, Ford is the sponsor and all of the schools have to modify a 2002 Explorer. The past 2 years a Chevy Suburban was the vehicle choice for competition. I'm hoping to gain valuable experience working on this project for the remainder of this semester and both semesters next year. Most of my Bull**** classes are out of the way such as english, social studies, and other Gen-ed courses. I understand these are important for a well rounded education, but they are also really boring to me, since I already had a pretty good grasp on the fundamentals of these courses. My engineering classes are much more interesting and fun to me. I don't give a rat's behind about business classes. They are just boring to me.

I think by now I'm just a professional student. Been in college since 95. Graduating this year from Southwest Missouri State University in May with a BS in Animal Science and in December with a BS in Wildlife Conservation. Going into Law Enforcement. I'm beyond sick of school.
