Stupid @#$%& Cowl Hoods!
Ugh, upon inspecting my engine the other day, I noticed some dirt on top of my GT 40 coverplate. I started to get upset when I realized it WASN'T dirt (was not coming off when I rubbed it) but in fact the hood cracking around the top of the intake
Apparently the spacer pushed the intake to be JUST exactly a lil too tall for my stock hood (even without the fireproofing junk). When I was 18, the 4 in RR hood to me was the KOOLEST thing. Now that I finally love subtle (read: stock), I NEED a hood! Oh, the injustice of it all! So I'm going to pick up a 2 inch straight cowl, paint it and be done with it. I really like the Cervini's that resembles a 2 in cowl for the fox body. Anyone have any suggestions? I've had the ram air too, don't want another. Belle |
