NASCAR bets

I have weekly bets with a guy off my route, so far I've done fairly well but I have to research it abit. Maybe some of you guys into nascar can help me alittle here. This week we already have one bet, I have Terry against Bobby. We make 3 bets, $10 bucks each and an extra $10 if one of your guys win. This week this joker wants Rusty(my favorite driver) because he won there last year so I have to pick someone against Rusty

.. I'm thinking of Dale Jr., Dale Jarrett or Mayfield.. what do you guys think?

I also need to come up with one more match up, whatcha think??

since you got the borther thing going take jeff burton over ward burton. As far as to win Mark Martin doesn't do to bad at california and he is due a win. I don't think you can go wrong with Kensth. Jr is overratted if you ask me. Kensth beat him for rookie of the year a couple years ago and he will win a championship before JR does.

Elliot sadler will win hopefullly him or mark martin or one of the Robert Yates cars. and match any body will be better than shauna lol

I hate Rusty Wallace, but since you're a good friend, Rick, I'll tell you who I think is going to win on Sunday.

Jeremy Mayfield. Bill Elliott is my number one driver, but Mayfield is good on this track. Plus, he's been doing well with the Intrepid, and he has something to prove to keep his job. If he doesn't win, it will be because he wrecked. Don't count out Bill, either. He was airlifted to the local hospital here on May 3, 1998 (I worked for him then), but the next year he drove without any fear, so I don't think the wreck in '98 will be a factor.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll let you know what the bets end up being tonight(we have to find something agreeable to both of us). I have lost money on Rusty this year so I started putting Mayfield in the mix and have done well with him. I really like Mayfield too, doesn't hurt that he won there in 2000 either

. I'm gonna try to take Mark Martin over Ward Burton, I think he'll go for that..

It didn't go as well as I had hoped, he wouldn't let me take Mayfield against Rusty for some reason..

The list goes: Terry #5(me)- Bobby #18(him)
Martin #6- W. Burton #22
Elliott #9- Newman #12
Mayfield #19- Jarrett #88

I hate to bet against the UPS car but, oh well. It seems we just keep betting more and more.. I had to bring it back down to $10 bets after I lost about $60 in 2 weeks(betting $20-30 a bet) but he keeps getting me to make more bets, now I'm $10 to the good(overall). He makes bets with this other guy(bookie??) and wagers thousands a week, mine is a little bet to him(that's how its gonna stay too, lol). Anyhow, the only driver he would take against Rusty was Gordon.. I didn't like that one..

I like nascar but I'm not real big on it like alot of people. I've started watching it regularly since we started betting... I may need more help later

good choice gordon sucks ( no pun intened heheh ) this year he hasnt done much except get divorced & hopefully he will come out of the closet, he is a rope smoker, hehe

Yeah, I did. Unfortunately, he wrecked on lap 86. This page on my website shows my collection of the parts we had to cut off the car just to get it to fit back in the transporter.
