Question So, what did everybody do for the 4th ?

How did you guys' holidays go, anything interesting happen?

Mine was really good! I went over to Merc's house around 2:30, helped them move a few pieces of furniture for a few minutes, then went and hoped in the pool with his sis, her bf and best friend. We played volleyball for 2+ hours straight
Then around 5:30 we ate, sat around and talked for like an hour or so. The family came outside around 6:15 and we started to shoot off a few fireworks. We scared the fugg outta some birds
After that, we hoped back into the pool for another couple hours. Again, we played volleyball. It is surprisingly fun.
Around 9 we all went out into the front yard/road and shot off the majority of the fireworks.
We managed to: cover all cars in suit, kill a few small animals, hit some cars, and set the neighbors yard on fire. It was great!!
At 11ish we all went inside and started to chill out, Merc, his girl, and me played video games for a while, then she got tired and left. When Merc got back in we played video games till about 2:15 AM, then I got tired and decided I'd go ahead and leave.
All around I had a blast, hope you all had a good of a time as I did!

I installed a cam and intake on a 65 Chevy truck, hung out here, and ended up at my best bud's house shooting off fireworks. The best part was when the fire department stopped by.

Take care,
-Chris

I washed an waxed my car, took my dads car off the trailer, and watched some fireworks from my house! Pretty boring, but my car looks good.

Yeah it was a pretty fun 4th. I think it was the first time ever that I was able to spend time with my Family, my Friends, and my Girlfriend all at the same time. It was amazing.

It was good. Gotta love setting the niehgors lawn on fire, and blowing branches and leaves off trees.

Went to New Braunfels to try and go tubing down the Guadlape(Sp?) river but it was way flooded and they wouldn't let anyone on. Ended up at a friends barbcue and then to a wild party with 200 college kids like me by the pool and multiple kegs... the rest of the details of the night will have to be censored out of this thread.

Talking 5 day weekend! :)

Not that I can afford it but cuz the holiday, I have a 5 day weekend!!! I went to WhiteSnakes, ate, layed out in the sun and swam. Had a really nice day! The FORCE stopped by a couple of times! It was good to see him again! Drank Margaritas all day, then resorted to Russians, and I guess crashed out about midnight.
On the way home I stopped off at Wally World and got Mulch and stuff for my flower beds. Been working in my yard for 2 days straight!!!!! STILL NOT DONE! But, I plan to get some stuff done around the house too! I feel like i'm trying to finally make progress!
I cooked my first brisket yesterday..err....It was okay. It was REALLY tender, but was lacking something in flavor. Guess cuz I did it in the oven and not on the pit! I'll know better next time! It was still pretty good for being my first one! I just made a sandwhich a little bit ago w/ it and ate half, forgot I put the plate on the floor, and stepped on the other half in my bare feet! YAK!
Now i've gotta take a shower to get the yard grime off me and the BBQ sauce out from between my toes! LOL! TNT
