Default i am a MAN of my word

As I said in the first post I just wanted to know the truth and if I was wrong I would apologize. As for the childish flaming I got back I will not address that and if you look back in all my posts you will see I never got out of hand. All that being said Mr. Mclain I truly apologize and now realize I should have contacted you personally with my??'s.As I said previously I have truly enjoyed your site and the tech I have gotten from it ,but after seeing all the posts from my thread I somehow don't think I am welcome here any longer so this will be my last post!

While the method was questionable, the question was honest. You are more than welcome to hang out, people here are pretty easy going.

I do have one request for you though. I saw the thread on Hardcore50 about what you were doing here. If you could post over there the resolution you found here I would appreciate it. It would be a show of good faith, and help keep the Mustang community together.

After all, we all bleed Ford blue.

Default Unfamiliar

I am unfamiliar with this little "bruhah", so I did a search. Was this another instance of a deleted thread for "whatever" reasons?

Cool, I haven't been over there since last night. I guess its really up to the Mod's, about them staying, but I don't care. At least they aren't GM guys.

Default Mistakes and apologies

fast88:

You admitted you were wrong and apologized - as well as admitting that you should have contacted Dan McClain privately before posting messages full of hearsay and rumor on the internet.

That's all anyone could ask and I assume it's a lesson learned. Check the facts, go to the source before posting public messages accusing someone.

The question was honest but the form was wrong.

Case closed.

As for being flamed, what did you expect? Really?

You posted a false charge based on misinformation against this website's founder and owner, Dan McClain, a man who has done a lot for the internet Mustang community with little to show for it but attacks on his character and integrity from people who are totally misinformed but go public and post the false accusations anyway. Yeah, we were pissed and you got your feelings hurt. So did Dan McClain. I think it's a draw on hurt feelings, don't you?

Let's learn from this and move on.

Your decision to stay around these messageboards is entirely up to you. You reap what you sow but we're a generous and generally forgiving bunch here, once the smoke clears. I suggest you give us a try, but again, it's your decision.

Thumbs up

Hey fast88,

Thanks for apologizing as you said you would and understanding that you should've gone to him personally first, not to thousands of people. We have to be careful not to jump on the bandwagon of heresay. Most of us have been guilty of screwin up. You made a mistake and apologized.

You are most welcome here.

For future reference, we need to be careful not to tear down each other (that's what the ricers do), but to build each other up here in the Mustang community.

Default Hurt feelings?

Hurt feelings aside, I guess there really is no other way to find out what actually transpired, than to contact those involved? Is that correct?

Fast88 - Your apology is accepted. Frankly, if it hadn't been you it would have probably been someone else. The true problem arouse when Tim Stockwell posted accusations before speaking with me directly/privately or to see what the situation was (i.e. my side of the story). Unfortunately, that is done and there's nothing anyone can do about it. He's apologized, retracted his posts, and we've resolved the misunderstanding.

The only other thing I can say is that I agree with all of Mr 5.0's comments, and the rest is up to you...
