Considering it will bolt up to the BOSS 302, I'd say it helps a little bit.

You will have to excuse me. I am new to the Ford side of things. I have always had Mopar & GM. I do know what a Boss 302 is though

Don't sweat it. I have no idea what the actual number would be, but since the 'street' 302's made 400bhp the factor racers were probably up over 600. Just a guess.

Ford rated the car at 290, which was for insurance, and kind of a joke. Some of my family was in a Mustang club in upstate NY, and there were three 302's in my family (one in a k-code 65) and a 64 faclon sprint. Put a couple BOSS '2s on the dyno and made 400 crank stock.

If you can find somebody who has one, convince them to dyno it. I was floored when my uncle told me the numbers it put up.

damn them australians get all the good stuff. Alot of the factory fords that go to australia are pretty awesome.
