Default anti theft devices

hey guys, i'm not sure if its jus me but lately i've been on a real paranoid kick about my stang, an after checkin the front page about that sweet 93 cobra gettin jacked, i'm really fearful about moddin my car. i really want to make my car nice, but thieves suck. we've all dealt with this scum at one time or another and if you haven't, my hats off to you. i've dealt with break-ins before, police reports, the whole gamut. and little seems to happen in the end. i beleive to stop a thief you gotta think like one. my question is besides an alarm that does absolutely nothing what else can I do to her that will keep my car mine an not some stupid *** crack fiend. do they make fuel cut off swtichs, engine kill disablers, or hood latch locks for 95 mustangs?

Move the battery to the trunk, and put a kill back there. I've seen hood locks that attach inside the engine bay, so you can't tell from the outside.

I've heard nothing but good things about lo-jack as well. There was a chop shop down there that got busted with like 20 cars in the various pieces. It was busted up by them snagging a car with LoJack, and it was the only one that could be driven away.

Something to think about.

you can put a kill switch fuel pump relay....it's under you seat.

Also a neat little trick with alarms is to install a second pezzo siren under the passender seat.

Lightbulb Just an idea.

It's simple realy, Just add a ign. coil (a stock one will do just fine, but use Mallory or Accel for a real light show)into your car alarm system. Not only will It keep out the theif, but those pesky little cat paw prints well be a thing of the past too.
Nothin' stops a stubborn thief like 20,000 volts!

lol,
I know I'm always afraid of my car being stolen, being a old car and pretty damn easy to wire I'm always cautious. I need to get a lock for my hood cause anyone can pop it. And it's not hard to get in my car right now, all you really need is a clothes hanger. But I always park my car where I can see it, I have this little piss pooor alarm that does nothing but pretty much looks seeing the person can take it out threw it on the floor run it over and drive away. lol But I'm putting a kill switch in this winter, and a few other things that can help. I'm adding a MSD ignition so they will help me abit I'm hoping. I would pitty the person I caught trying to break into my car. My dad caught 2 kids one time breaking into his 5.0L after it was broken into a few months earlier, he just grabbed the kids and called the cops but they did nothing, they were trouble kids so they said they'd keep there eye on them. Gotta love our piss poor system, the theives will be calling the cops on me if they try to break into my car, a good beating and I'll drop them in the middle of a corn fiend 2 hours north of here and they won't know what happen.

§am.

thanx guys, for the good tips. i know you fortunate stangers that are out there are able to lockup yer babys in the garage at nite dosen't really apply to you. but i frickin swear that if i am lucky enough to catch some ****** bustin in my car (again), i will shoot them on site..an I double dog dare any jury to convict me.. its time we got midevial or at least "iraqi" on these scum of the world who are too lazy to get a job, clean up, an become useful members of society. two things you never mess with a guy is his girl an his car. "vigulante" is what they call it. "Tough love" is what I call it
my theory is enough get shot, the lil "wanna bees" will think twice about becoming a car jacker.
mama didn't teach you.. ill volunter my services. jus don't whine when I blow ya knee caps off.
