Default need to buy a winter car

I think it's about time to buy a winter car. I don't think my Stang can handle snow to well. I used to have a 79 Land Cruiser Fj40 and was thinking of getting another, but they are getting expensive. I would like to stay around $3000 and have four wheel drive. Any ideas?

Yep after this season is over with she's going up for sale I really like the car alot..i've had it for about 6 years. But i just can't get it light enough to compete with the newer pro stock style cars. And at this point i'm just gonna give it up for a couple years. It's getting too expensive..i can't just keep forking out money on my car to make it competitive and then they change the rules overnight. Besides i wanna spend time doing more things like traveling, going to the beach, visiting family and stuff like that. If you get too involved with racing it can really hurt your personal life. Plus i'm temporarily laid off at the moment so i wanna try to save some money.
