will a 15X8 rear tire fit on a 1988 mustang LX with no modification?

yes they will. maybe they will hit the quad shocks, but depends on the tire size too. i fitted my 17x8's with 245/45/17's and it didnt hit anything, not even the wheel lip. Just to let you know, every stang is different so i am not 100% sure. just 95% sure.

Usual is 15x8 rim with 5.5 bs with 275-50-15 and might need to either flip the quad shock or remove it. 245-60-15 will probly fit but will be taller.
