your opinions on rims
I am thinking of buying a new set of rims for my 79. I have a set of older black honeycomb wheels that I think look cool on the car but they are only 15's. Do you think it is rice to put a set of black rims on a mustang. I want to get a set of 5 stars with the star part painted black and the outer part in polished aluminum. Click on the sig for a picture of my car and tell me what you think they would look like on it. Also, the scoop is no longer on the car so ignore that part.

I think it will look like crap, but what I think really doesnt matter. Its your ride, if you like black wheels, rice or not, go for it.
And i dont think black wheels is rice anyway, if that eases your mind at all. Rice is a lot of things, but just having black wheels doesnt qualify in my opinion. Its hard to tell without actually seeing them on the car though, so who knows, maybe it will look ok. |

I think black wheels look tough. I'd get either a set of Ponies/weld drag stars/cobra R's and paint/powdercoat them black. They'll look BAYAD! I hope I'll eventually have a black notchback w/black cobra R's/ full length cowl/ smoked tail lenses, but I'll probably never have enough money to get out of debt, let alone buy a new car. Whatever.......................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ........
Now I'm pissed Someone buy me a notchback!

The 17 inch cobra r's look cool, but the black honecolmb rims would look good as well. It all looks good on a mustang.
