they CAN and WILL JUMP OUT AND BITE YOU.
thought this was a cool picture. note what is behind me. my STANG! the moral of the story is there is a reason those things say WARNING: SHARP EDGES all over the box. |

Ouch!
I hate it when that happens. My youngest son has a really nasty scar on his forearm where he got up against the alternator pulley fan while the engine was running. He was so embarrassed by it that he hid it till it healed up. It wasn't that he hit the fan, but that he hit it four times that day and that was why the scar is so big.

Holy enduring pain Batman, My arms are so cut up and scarred from wrenching on cars its not funny. I wont ever be able ot rob a liquir store in short sleeves, clerk be all like just look for the guy with the messed up arms.

When I installed mine I was bleeding all over, had like a dozen cuts all over my hands and arms... Then the darn thing came apart on me a few months later and took out a brand new radiator, my hood, overflow bottle, fan clutch, shroud and several other things resulting in about $2000 worth of damage. Flex fans suck! Do yourself a favor and save up for an electric fan.
