This is truely ridiculous!!New Neon SRT runs 14.2
It's trapping at 102 and 103mph! Tested by car and driver, if they had a good driver, i see 13's easy. Why a Neon? They are gonna be faster then the new GT's. Hell, with a few mods to that car, i might even get walked on. Aarrrggg!

the production car will be quick, but not quite that quick. Something about compression or boost or hell, I cant remember what, but the production car will NOT make that much power as the tester car(s). Not that a boost controller wouldnt be an easy fix for that.
You stock stang guys better get your arse's in gear, cause otherwise theres gonna be a bunch of Peon's runnin all over ya!!!

If they made a 600HP Deawoo would you wanna drive it. As I stated in the other post about this car.
Its still a POS Neon, I have owned a turbo Daytona and charger. Both of them 4 banger turbos. I changed the engine 3 times in 4 years with the Charger. I damn sure wont be rushing out to buy one, considering it will run a 14.7 or so here at 3000ft I am not worried. Later,

Ahhh, What boost will do for you....
Sport Compacts are where the money is these days... Expect to see supercharged SVT Focuses on the showroom floor sometime soon.... Don't worry fellow Stangers, just even the playing field with a little forced induction of your own...

Wouldn't own another Mopar!
No way...wouldn't own a Viper if given the chance. Beautiful, powerful car. Silly engineering IMO. All their damn special OEM needed tools...Usually need to buy $200 in tools to take out a $35.00 part.
Don't care what that little thing runs, I will never own another Mopar product. Had a Dodge Dakota and I never want to buy another set of Torx wrenches in my life. Especially fancy new "anti-theft" ones. I'll keep my 'Stang. Stock 14s, (shakes head) the shame of it all....Come on Ford. Jennifer aka Jane of all Trades |
