Interesting Day (kinda long)
*Kinda long sorry * Ok, so here I am. Class just gets out at my High School for open campus lunch (only for finals). My buddy in a blue Mustang with a 351 is next to me revving, so I crank up and let it warm up a few minutes. We're out in the back of the parking lot as people are leaving with all of our buddies. Btw, his car has a 92 back end and a 79 front (dont ask, weird mut car)Then I throw some revs to 3-4k. He returns. I then up the bet and go to about 5k-5.5k. *Big Mistake!* I see some ricers in front of me in do the *cut it* symbol and staring like mad. I quickly turn off the car and get out. *Me hear guzzle noise* I look under the car and see a huge puddle of oil. I then open the hood and notice my right side of the engine bay is covered in oil! Its steaming somewhat and all on the concrete. My buddy who isnt a bad mechance comes over and suggests that I blew the oil filter seal. *With no other abresations I'm assuming its this* Well to make a long story short I eat lunch, call dad, we change out oil weights and purchase a new oil filter. Seems the oil filter original filter on there is fine but we change out. Nothing else is wrong. Car not only runs with lighter oil pressure but hasnt blown up yet *30 minutes to be exact* I swore I could of busted something, trusty ford ! So soon enough I'm gonna check my heads and make sure theres no clogging. Crazy arse mechanical oil gauge

lol Well hope everything is okay... you know those ricers are probably telling those Honda buddies that they seen a Ford die. lol Hope everything is okay for the pony... If it's only a oil filter seal and oil filter you got off cheap.

a ford can survive longer than a gm with little or no oil, not a dog out, just a fact, you got lucky your car should be ok since you shut it down.
