Ive always cleaned the blades with brake fluid and use them some more. If their not cracked any.
I use Bon-Ami (sp?) Its the only cleanser that you can use to clean a windshield. Its in a can like comet is, yellowish can. Less than a buck. It cleans unreal, NO scratches. Then rainX. Latley Ive been using that wax as you dry type wax. It also helps keep rain beading.
