This also applies to anyone else in the Atlanta area:

I'm looking for a local track (1/4 mile, preferably) around here. I checked out georgiadragracing.com, but most of the tracks are in the Valdosta/Macon area and many are 1/8 mile tracks. I was wondering if anybody knew any local tracks and times you can run. I know most test/tunes are Fridays and brackets are Saturdays, but I was just looking for a place where I could make a few passes. Commerce is my closest option, but they're more NHRA based and don't offer many opportunities. Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, you're pretty much out of luck. Reynilds is where we go and it is at least an hour and a half down. Commerce has a crappy surface in my oppinion, it takes a lot to hook there. Te best bet for some fun is Moreland Ave. Friday and Sat nights. But as far as tracks go, Reynolds and Commerce are pretty much your only choices. Jon

Well I got in touch with the guys at Silver Dollar and they said Saturday runs begin Jan. 24 and Friday grudge nights start the first friday in March. Hopefully I'll be able to make it down for a few runs this spring. Do you happen to know how many runs you can get in a night? and how busy is it on the avg. Fri/Sat.?
