Default Black Cherry paint

Hi, i was wondering if any one new how much paint it would take to cover my 87 gt about 4-6 coats. and i want to use black cherry color along with clear coat. thatnks

I dunno how much paint you would need. But I've seen black cherry on a Vette before and I know it'll look damn sweet on your Stang.

Someone here (and I cant remember who) had theirs painted (I think) black cherry. Several coats and several coats of clear, and it looked freakin awsome!!!!!!! Sorry, but I have no info to answer your question though.

IS it normal to use that many coats of paint. I painted only one car before and it took only 3 coats. I wanted to learn how to paint and had help. I was just wondering if the color had anything to do with it.

use a good base coat/clear coat system.. dupont.. probably wont take but 2 good coats of base.. little less than a gallon (buy the whole gallon tho) and if u really wanna go wild on the clear then go for it.. but i would suggest a good 3-4 coats and a cut and buff.
