Default is the analizer flywheel or rearwheel horepower??

i was wondering if the analyzer was flywheel or rearwheel horsepower. hopefully flywheel.

Calculate your potential ET from your chassis dyno figures or from total available HP results from the horsepower calculator

that saying has me confused, it says use you chassis dyno figures or from total horsepower which i believe would be flywheel. but how do you pick what you want to use. i want to see what 510 flywheel horse in a 2800 pound car would do on it. multiplying my total power by .80 or .85 like some calcs say brings my rear wheel to 480 for .80 and 433.50 at .85. when i put in my flywheel #'s it says what i think and some other people think it should run.

I pretty sure that it uses rear wheel hp #'s.

Thumbs up thanks alot

i figured it was flywheel power, since it was real close with other site speed calcs. but i wasnt sure. i havent had the time to run my car yet cause my painter took 4 1/2 months to paint my rust free car, then i got it back 2 weeks ago and i left it in the sun to bake and the paint shrunk and looked terrible, he put the body mouldings on with the wrong tape, put the tape in the wrong spot and it started to fall off and took paint with it. it has been a nightmare. i will hopefully run it this weekend, i still have to do the front end alignment, i will have to do it myself, since local shops are booked, and a few other minor things and it will be ready, HOPEFULLY!! thanks for the replies and goodluck to you guys at the track with you cars!!

Default At the wheels

I can't see how the HP numbers could be anything other than at the wheels. To use flywheel HP, the Analyzer program would have to know what the drive line efficeny was and take that into account. In fact, the Analyzer doesn't even know whether the car is using a standard or an auto transmission. So it seems to me that the HP numbers must be at the wheels.

Default I went 10.57 129.91mph at 510 horse

I wnet to my local track this weekend and in 95 degree hi humidity, and the first time out with the car all year and new fresh 306, i went 10.57 129.91mph with a 1.57 60' i couldnt hook up to save my butt. but this analizer says the same mph i ran, but my et was slower, but it was hot, i didnt try and tune it and i spun bad. If i enter all my info in it, it comes out in flywheel power according to my mph i ran. i just have to get it to hook up on a cooler day and then it will run cloe or the same as the analyzer says. Just my opinion on the flywheel power, since i ran the same mph it gave me when i entered my flywheel and weight info
