Well 3wks ago on my way home from the race track I was sideswiped by a drunk driver.

Here's some pics of the car as it sits before and after.

Default Insurance?

Did drunk boy have insurance? That won't make it a good experience, but at least it will help. How did it do at the track before the disaster?

The accident was a hit and run. We're still trying to find the car, it was tossed into hiding soon after the accident. We know who did it we just can't prove it cuz the car is gone.

I didn't have collision coverage on the car so as of right now I'm on the hook for the costs. But if I find the car that hit me, then I'll have all damages paid for by insurance.

And the car ran a best of 13.33@101.51MPH in the 1/4 with 1.8 sec 60 fts.

Cool

I hope that works out for ya. I suffered an accident myself, my situation worked pretty well but, I know that's not the norm.

Drunk driver and Hit and Run?? Worst possible situation. Hope you catch up to the responsible parties and get reimbursed.

Good luck.

Man that sucks!!!!!

By the looks of your car the other car must be pretty messed up as well.

If it was a hit and run how do you know the person was drunk?

Well I'm guessing that he was drunk or something, since a normal person would stop once they smoked ya. And considering they came half way into my lane thats not a normal driving habit for a sober person.

And as for the other persons car. I'm sure it didn't fair too well. Cuz I got his entire door skin off his car, along with mirror and center cap to his rim (same kind cap as the pony wheels have over the lugs)

I've seen your car at st thomas a few times this summer and it looked super clean and ran well to. I hope that you can get her fixed up over the winter so I can see it again at my next time to the track. Hopefully you can find a way to prove that he was the driver and that he was drunk so you don't have to pay out of pocket.
