cam performance tutor?
OK, heres the situation. I know a decent bit about cars in general/Mustangs in specific, but one thing that has always struck me as a black art was cams and tayloring them to the application. I understand the basics about how they work, terms etc.but how do you learn the practical side of it? Is it the voice of expierence? Are there formulas? How do you decide what cam is best for a specific application without firsthand exp and/or input from other? Like I said, I know the generalitys, but how do you measure the specifics? basically, I want to be able to make my own decisions, not just parrot what someone has told me.
I have at least one rebuild in my immediate future, and am feeling a bit overwhelmed at my choices. Anyone? Help? J
