What do you guys think?
Just bought a new Pony, and wondered what the general reaction was across the board from the..more experienced members of the Mustang community....I know it's the V6, but it's got plenty of power, and then theres insurance...I love it.

The '05's are a great leap forward in the evolution of the venerable Ford Mustang, now in it's 41st year.
The Lime Green color is not really to my taste and I can't imagine a Mustang without a V-8 - but those are just my personal preferences and not a knock on your '05 Stang, which is still a fine automobile and one you can be proud of owning. Much good luck with it.

Re: What do you guys think?
Yeah, I must say I'd prefer a V-8, but I can't afford the extra insurance and the 5 grand to make it one...im still in highschool...so the V6 is an absolutely amazing car. Im already paid for...(i paid half of it, parents covering the rest...Merry Christmas, lol) Yeah, lifeguarding pays well enough...but not well enough for the 1000 some odd bucks of insurance every 6 months...im not sure if thats the exact number. I'll wait awhile on the GT, but i've certainly become a mustang fanatic. I've helped my friend with his '02 GT, he has some serious mods and runs 12s in it, but I never thought of it as a car for myself, but i love the new body style... and from alot of 60s 'Stang owners I get the "nice color, it's the same as a friend i have's, but his is 40 years old...i love it.

Welcome and congrats on the purchase.
You know it's good to have something to look forward to ... after high school, heck, after college too. |
