Help with new ram manifold
I just bought this ram manifold for my 289
its going to go on my 65 comet with an automatic and 4.11's. I cant find hardly any info on this manifold at all, any info you guys can give me on a good cam combo would help me out. My motor now has 10.5 to 1's in it. the carbs on the manifold are 450cfm's. really any info on how to get this thing to run good would help me out, thanks guys. |

Hi.Nice intake there.I would call a cam help line..comp cams.tell them what u have.I prefer something like a 284 or 292 advertised duration cams .They can help u.As far as carberation gos i dont think they make any smaller 4vs than those.289's dont need a ton of fuel..two 450's equal 900cfms thats alot for a 289.It seems to me what you have is good.I would maybe rebuild them.Good luck!
