Question for serious NHRA followers
Can anyone tell me what happened to Whit Bazemore, in funny car and Erica Enders, in Pro stock?
They both suddenly disappeared without any explainations. I also heard that announcer, Mike Dunn, is returning to racing and also Dean Skuza.

Re: Question for serious NHRA followers
Not sure what you meant about Bazemore. Matco will move up to Top Fuel in 2007 with Bazemore driving for David Powers Racing. Everyone blames Matco for the too early move.
Don Shoe said he was forced to let go Bazemore ( Because of MAtco's phone call ) to hire Beckman who brings a sponser. I don't see Beckman staying for more than a season personally. Havn't read or heard the others yet.

Re: Question for serious NHRA followers
I also just found out that Erica Enders is starting her own team with her Father and will be back soon. She sat out Reading to sort her new team out.
Bazemore is most likely going over to Top fuel with Matco tools in 2007. It's not definate but he is the #1 pick right now. I just found all this out on NHRA.com

Re: Question for serious NHRA followers
I have never liked Enders. She can't live up to the hype. It took her forever just to qualify for her first pro stock race. She still has not won a race.

Re: Question for serious NHRA followers
Erica needs more practice driving... she had one of the quickest cars, but would always make a mistake, cut a bad light etc. Really cool in person though.
About Whit http://www.nitromater.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2776 Try these sites http://www.competitionplus.com/ http://www.nitromater.com/ Kenny Bernstein is comming back next year too..
