On the road again!!!
Thanks everyone for commenting on the issue of my Stang being stolen. It was a sad time.
I have rebuilt the column and key lock assembly which was broken during the heist. i still have to repaint my front clip and find a column cover. If i can't find a column cover I'll just break down and go to the dealer. She's being protected now with an alarm and theft insurance(comprehensive). There are a couple of things i want to do to her this weekend to help keep her in my drive way. To add to all the goods happening i finally took her out to the track. the lowest i got her was 14.375 sec. in the 1/4. I know she'll do 13's. I spun the tires both runs and had difficulty getting into second cause of a s$#ty second gear. Plus this was the first time i ran at the track since i ditched the firechicken.( my old firebird) With a little tranny work she'll get there. So things with her are looking up and thanks again for the reply's. it's nice to know that Stangers can count on each other for support. Lite 'em up!! |

14's?!?!?!?!
I can't believe that!! I know you'll be able to run 12's when you get that transmission fixed (does not want to stay in second gear.. pops out, for anyone curious )and some gooood tires!!! But anyways, glad to see you finally ran it, I need to bring mine out there one of these days! ------------------ Joe! 1988 GT, 167,000 miles!!! 13.71@105mph Check out my listing! Click here!
