It's true...my ex-girlfriend's dad was killed by a drunken driven when she was really young, and she did collect some of his Social Security benefits. But I don't remember at what age she became ineligible, might have been 18 or 21. Ain't callin' her to find out, either!
Like Maroon said, try your local SSA office. You may have to stand in line for a while, but they'll tell you if your'e eligible and if so, how to apply for benefits. It won't be much, but it'll help out a college student. You might also be eligible for different types of financial aid for school. Good luck! ------------------ Greg 91 LX Convertible |
