I have a similair story. I was riding with my friend in his modded '95 GT when a couple of guys pull up next to us at a redlight in a '93-'97 Z28. They were talking trash and revving the engine, and my friend was definately tempted to give them a run. But we were in a part of town that is known for cops being nearby, so he passed on this race. The light changed and the two obnoxious guys in the Camaro peeled out and took off. Less than a mile down the road we passed them and the cop who pulled them over. I smiled and waved as we passed by. We laughed the rest of the night over that. Still makes me smile to this day.
