Post E.T. Guess

I'm going to the track next week and want to have a rough idea of what I should be running.

Laundry list: 302 rebuilt, cleaned up Edelbrock 6032 heads, F-cam, Edelbrock Performer intake (lower has runners ported to heads), 65mm t/b, 24 lb injectors, 73mm C&L MAS, 3/8" Phenolic Spacer, AFPR, 1.6 RR, Windage tray, h/d oil pump, centerforce clutch, SVO driveshaft, 3.73's, frame ties, drag radials, skinnies, removed front sway bar, 1 5/8" MAC Long tubes, cat 2 1/2" H pipe, 2 1/2" cat-back. I think that's it for now.

I'm gonna run the NOS after a few runs to get a baseline. NOS St.1 Dry at 80hp now, then I'm gonna jet it to 125.

I've been told that I could hit 12.7's at 106 with good driving/traction, and 12.1s on 80hp NOS... Does that sound right?

Expect to run in the lower 13 range. That way your happier when you hit the 12's. Is this your first time running a car on a track or do you have experiance? If you do have experiance, then 12's should be the norm, should. With this sort of thing, you never know until you try it. Later.

If you can bang gears I would guess low 13's to high 12's at 106-109. When I was running 109 on motor my stage 1 kit took me to 114-115 mph. Good for mid-low 12's with a so-so launch on drag radials.

I've got some experience in the past couple years now running the track. I'm no pro, but I'm at the track regularly.

With all that I would hope you would be in the mid 12's@110 and mid to high 11's on the bottle. Good Luck!
