This exact thing has happened to a friend of mine! He was working at the mall (from noon till 5) and when he got out to his '94 Cobra he found it sitting just like that. Someone had ran a coat hanger through the window, hit the unlock button, and opened the door. Then they cut the alarm, got his lug nut key out of the glove box, popped the trunk, and used his jack! Luckily they cought the guy who did it, but no one will ever forget the way that car looked.

It appears to be a 99 GT. Look at the fog lights up front.

I'd still rather have stock gt rims than those...and I'm pretty sure the gt has duals and a gt badge on the fender...anyone else opinion?

99 GT's didnt have the "GT" badges on the side designating it as a GT, they had just the 35th anniversary running horse, hell some even had the 16 inch rims on them. I've only seen a handfull of GT's with 16 inch rims though.
If you look closely at the back wheel well, you can see the drivers side exhaust pipe. Its a GT. [This message has been edited by Mercury (edited 07-23-2001).] |
