Post Hey Capri306...

From a reply by Capri306 in another thread:

Thanks again for the pic. You're lucky to be able to get to the track that much (I'm jealous!).

Capri-
I do more than get to the track, I win at the track (cocky enough?). Our team is in first place with an 845 point lead, and only 3 more points races left this season. This was our trophy picture after winning the Main Event two weeks ago. From left: Dave Hulce, Me, Dave Fox, Stranger who got in the picture, Jhonna Porter, and her Dad and my Boss, Owner/Driver Jim Porter.

Take care
~Chris

Hey Chris

Do you guys run USAC? I see that you don't run wings. All the sprint cars up here in WI run wings. It really keeps the "roll rate" down when they try to spin in the air. Man I've seen guy's pull five or six turns in the air, with the wing. I can't imagine how many the'yd have had without the added damper effect of the wing.

My budy jumped over the rear wheel of anther car and did the inevitable flip and spin.

He spent a couple of days in the hospital. When he got back to work, he looked like a prize fighter who got beat up bad.

The Doc said that my buddy almost had his eyes pulled from his head by the g-forces of the spin.

He was back in a new car in a month.

Al-
We primarily run VRA, but sometimes SCRA.

We also go by the motto "Wings are for faries"

Hey Reb!
How you doin'? I'm recovering from a busted up foot and ankle, including a torn tendon. But hey, it's all in a days work, right?

Take care
