Smoked my clutch
Today on the way home from picking up my son sitting at a red light I started to smell clutch. When the light turned green it was real soft. I just had this clutch put in. It is a ram HD clutch. It is not slipping but real soft and does not feel right at all. I prob. have 5000 miles on the clutch. I am wondering if I have too much HP for this clutch. I am so mad. I paid 200 for the clutch and 425 for installation. I wonder if my mechanic is at fault of if it is a defective clutch or too much HP. Has anyone had this problem with Ram clutches? Hate to have to spend more $$$$$ after putting 10 grand into it.

Your running 10's man, good luck on clutches. It's a good problem to have though. If it's just the Ram like out of Jeg's(I really doubt that it is) it has like 30% more holding power than stock, if so it is way too weak for your set-up, Centerforce Dual Friction or maybe even a stronger clutch? How come you don't know all your mod's done to your car? If it's not slipping, then....what's the deal?
