Question clear tail lenses

What do you guys think about them? I know I'm probalby gonna get flamed for this, but I kinda like them on some black cars(nothing else). I hate euro lights thought(except on PT Crusers and I kinda like them on the new lightings). So what do you guys think

I would push a Camaro across the country with my bare hands before I would put those things on a vehicle I owned. Of course, that's just me.

Take care,

Personally, i don't think they really look good because they're so pale looking. They don't really look like, say, reverse lights which are silvery and clear. They're more of a cheap plasticy look and not to mention you have to buy red bulbs that end up looking pink. I wouldn't recommend it also because it's more likely you'll get sh/t from cops and should you get rear ended YOU could end up with a fine or ticket for having illegal lights, let alone get blamed for the accident. Although some of these MAY not happen, my personal opinion is that there are lots of cool mustang rear lenses that aren't technically "illegal" so the clears are more trouble than they're worth....just my opinion.
It is your car though, so do what you want to customize it.

Well I wouldn't be them on my car they look ugly as hell on fox bodies. Of the cars that I like with clear lenses I like them about .01% more than the stock lenses. That's why I'll never put clear lenses on any of my cars. They're just not worth the money. I agree with 84LX89GT, they would look better if they were a silvery color.

Thumbs down

those things only look halfway decent on a silver or grey car. other than that, you gotta buy those cute red bulbs for them! sounds like a pain to me!

IMO 99.9% of the time, they look like crap.

Especially on fox bodies.

On the back of a Fox, crap. On the front. They look really good if you put the new headlamps as well so you lose that nasty discoloration they all have and it is a dark color.

I agree with just about everyone who replied. The clear lights in the rear are pretty ugly. Leave that stuff for the ricers to make they're car faster. hahaha. I have the clear lights on the front of my fox body and they look sooooooooo good. Expecally with the sivler bottom.

Yeah, I was only talking about clear taillight lenses. Clear front corner lenses look pretty good.
